the general public... I don't really hate

Meanwhile, back at the ranch....

I have to express my distain towards the Australian general public at this very moment, more specifically towards those who have complained about yesterday's Virgin terminal closure at Melbourne Airport. Get a grip. Count your lucky stars that it wasn't something more serious. Complaining that there was not enough organisation?! Having 20,000 people stranded in your terminal at one of the most busy domestic terminals in the world is a responsibility that few would consider, let alone be able to handle effectively and in a manner that would please all those affected. Especially when nobody knew where the gas was coming from or what the chemical was in the first place, it would make sense to shut down the terminal and evacuate everyone. Better safe than sorry. Grow a brain, and get some sense. Please. I emplore you.

People blame the companies when there's a terrorist attack, accusing them of not taking up effective security measures, and then they blame the companies when they take a harsh stance on security. Give them a break.
